Do beauty competitions for little girls have a negative affect on them?
On one hand I believe that such competitions help boost their self esteem. but on another hand, mothers who get so invovled with nothing but the competitions may be what is negative about the situation..When praticing your talent for the competition becomes "family quality time", or when make-up and hair appointments become more important than having a nice talk with your child....thats when things have gone too far...
